The EdgePoint R8 (EP-R8-U) is a robust outdoor router created for WISP (Wireless Internet Service Provider) deployments. It integrates Layer 3 routing, fiber backhaul, and advanced PoE output into a compact, pole-mountable form factor. The universal version (U) supports worldwide voltage standards and is engineered to minimize equipment clutter while providing superior surge protection with FiberProtect.
